We're a husband-and-wife team. Kevin has been licensed in Arizona real estate since 2005 and Annette since 2007, and for the last 14 years our entire business as a team has been the Northwest Valley's active adult retirement communities. We've closed more than 320 transactions here, earned more than 100 client reviews, and were named recipients of the eXp ICON Award in 2026.
Who we are
We're Kevin and Annette Wurgler, a married couple who live and work in Sun City West, Arizona. We sell real estate together, full time, in the 55+ and active adult communities of the Northwest Valley — Sun City West, Sun City, Sun City Grand, Sun City Festival, Corte Bella, PebbleCreek, Sun Village, Westbrook Village, Arizona Traditions and the all-ages alternative next door, Coyote Lakes. This is not one segment of our business. It is our business.
You get both of us on every transaction. One of us is usually at the house — meeting inspectors, walking a clean-out, checking on a vacant listing — while the other is on the phone with escrow, the association or your family out of state. That's the practical reason people hire a couple instead of a single agent in this market.
Where we came from
Before real estate, we spent roughly 20 years in the golf industry, running clubs across metro Phoenix. That put us inside the West Valley's golf and country club communities long before we ever wrote a purchase contract. We learned how these neighborhoods are governed, how amenities get funded, who actually enforces the rules, and what daily life in them really looks like. When we moved into real estate, we didn't have to learn the map — we already lived on it.
Our timeline, stated plainly
You may see two different numbers for our experience, so here is the distinction. Kevin has been licensed in Arizona real estate since 2005 — 21 years — and Annette has been licensed since 2007. For the last 14 years we have worked together full time as a two-person team devoted entirely to the West Valley's active adult communities. When this site says "14 years," it means 14 years as the Wurgler team; when Kevin's Realtor.com profile says 21 years, it means his individual license history. Both are accurate, and the 320+ closed transactions and 100+ reviews below are the team's record.
What we do
We represent buyers and sellers in age-restricted and active adult communities, and we handle a high volume of relocation, out-of-state and family-coordinated sales. We chose a narrow specialty on purpose, because these communities do not behave like ordinary subdivisions:
- Age-restriction rules apply to every occupant, not just the buyer on the loan — and they're verified in writing before we get to closing.
- Recreation assessments, transfer fees and asset-preservation fees vary by community and change over time, so we order current figures rather than quote memory.
- Governing documents for a Sun City West patio home and a gated club community like Corte Bella are not the same document, and the differences show up in your offer.
- Homes here are often 20 to 50 years old. We schedule roof, HVAC, plumbing and sewer inspections early in the inspection period, while there's still time to negotiate.
The markets where we thrive
We're strongest where community knowledge decides the outcome: Sun City West and Sun City (Recreation Centers membership, patio homes, original 1960s–1980s construction), Sun City Grand and Sun City Festival (newer Del Webb floor plans), Corte Bella and PebbleCreek (gated country club living), and the rest of the communities we cover in depth. We also work Surprise, Peoria, Goodyear and Buckeye for clients who need an all-ages home.
